INDUSTRIES · BPO AND OUTSOURCING

In outsourcing, ramp time is not a training metric. It is a margin line.

UpTroop is the readiness layer for BPO and BPS providers — turning each client's SOPs and scripts into daily practice for the agents on that programme, in the languages they serve in, with readiness scored per client before go-live.

THE CHALLENGES

Where outsourcing economics break

You are paid for productive seats. Every week of nesting is cost you carry and revenue you have not started earning.

Every client is a different rulebook

Separate scripts, disclosures, systems and tone of voice per programme. Generic conversation training does not transfer, and building bespoke content for each client is what makes training a cost centre.

Ramp commitments you sold in the bid

Transition timelines are contractual. When a wave takes longer to reach proficiency, you absorb the cost, the client sees the QA numbers, and the next renewal conversation gets harder.

Attrition at volume

Continuous hiring means a permanent nesting population across every programme. Trainer capacity, not agent ability, becomes the constraint on how fast a floor can improve.

WHERE IT PAYS BACK

Four moments that decide programme margin

Upload the client's SOP and the AI Console builds practice for that programme only — assigned by queue, language and shift, with client content kept separate.

New client transition

The client sends process documents in week one. Practice can be live the same day, so agents rehearse the actual calls during transition rather than waiting for content design to finish.

Nesting and go-live

Readiness scored per agent and per call type gives you evidence of who is proficient, rather than a nesting period that ends because the calendar says so.

Seasonal and volume waves

Peak hiring without proportional trainer headcount. Practice scales to the wave because it runs on the channel agents already have, not in a classroom slot.

Client QA and audit

When a client challenges quality, per-agent readiness history by scenario is a stronger answer than completion records — and it shows where coaching was targeted.

EVIDENCE FOR THE CLIENT REVIEW

Proficiency you can show, per programme

Readiness rolls up by programme, queue and language, and every score traces to a specific behaviour. That turns a quality conversation with a client from opinion into evidence — and shows exactly which agents were coached and on what.

BPO readiness FAQs

How is one client's content kept separate from another's?

Each customer tenant is logically separated, and your content, scenarios and learner records are never used to train models for another customer. For a provider running competing clients on the same floor, this is usually the first question procurement asks — the detail is on our security page.

How quickly can we stand up practice for a new client programme?

Upload the client's process documents in the AI Console, choose the queues and languages, set the schedule. Practice can be assigned the same day, which means agents rehearse real calls during transition instead of waiting on content design.

Do you need access to our client's call recordings?

No, and for outsourcing that matters. Practice is built from documents, and sessions are simulations between an agent and an AI partner, so no client customer audio or personal data enters the system. You do not need to negotiate recording access with the client to get started.

Can we prove proficiency to a client at go-live?

Yes. Readiness is scored per agent, per call type and per programme, with each score traceable to a specific behaviour in a specific scenario. That gives a transition manager evidence of who is proficient rather than a completion percentage.

Which languages are supported for offshore and multilingual delivery?

Eleven or more languages are live in production, including eight Indian languages in daily use within a single enterprise deployment. Practice and scoring happen in the same language the agent serves in.

Does this replace our LMS or QA tooling?

No. Your LMS stays the record of mandatory training and your QA platform keeps scoring live calls. UpTroop covers the gap between them: whether an agent can hold the conversation before they are on a client's queue.
